More than 90% of Moscow residents use city electronic services. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Moscow Department of Information Technologies, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

Respondents also said that they use mobile banking, social networks and messengers. Entertainment platforms and online stores are also popular. In general, 99% of the capital's residents aged 18 to 65 use these or other online services.

"Such studies help to develop the digital ecosystem of the city, based on the preferences of Muscovites. They quickly master new technologies - 36% of respondents already use applications with artificial intelligence to generate texts and images. And every fifth is accustomed to regularly refer to 10-15 online services", - Sergunina specified.

Moscow has digitized a large number of public services covering different spheres of life - from health care and education to culture and housing and utilities. More than 450 services are available on the city portal mos.ru, they were used more than 852 million times last year.

Moscow is a leader in Russia in the field of digitalization. In 2024, city departments and IT projects received more than 60 specialized awards.
