AFU prisoners criticized their command for ignoring their injuries

POWs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Oleksandr Mohylnyy and Oleksandr Indyuk reported on January 31 that the Ukrainian military leadership ignored the soldiers' wounds and thanked the Russian fighters for the medical care provided in captivity.
According to Mogilnyy, after being wounded, the command postponed his hospitalization "for tomorrow" every day.
"Two weeks ago I was wounded by a shrapnel in the leg. Every day asked for help to get me evacuated, every time [commanders] planned but no way to get me in. Every day they promised, but, as you can see, I was captured by the Russians, and here I was bandaged, fed, and given antibiotics. Guys, who constantly throw us on meat, surrender better as prisoners, you do not need to fight. Our command <...> only "breakfasts" are fed," he complained.
In turn, Indyuk said that at the front he received a fracture of the arm, but there was no action from the leadership just as in the first case.
"I surrendered as a prisoner of war because there was no choice. I was left at the mercy of our leadership with a broken arm, I lay for 10 days - no help, no evacuation, nothing. When I was captured, I was given first aid, fed, drunk, treated well, not beaten," he said, swearing against his commanders.
Earlier in the day, captured AFU serviceman Oleg Danilov said that he was forcibly mobilized despite his health problems. According to the man, he was wounded at the position, but no one in his group could provide him with medical assistance. Danilov said he was treated by Russian doctors.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the worsening situation in the region.
