Man injured in AFU attack on car in Zaporizhzhya region


The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked a car on the Vasilyevka-Tokmak highway in Zaporizhzhya Region, as a result of which a man was injured. This was reported by the Governor of the region Yevgeny Balitsky on January 31.
"Just received information that on the highway Vasilievka - Tokmak drone attacked a civilian car. Affected a man born in 1951, a resident of the village of Zelenyi Gai," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.
Balitsky specified that the victim has multiple shrapnel wounds to the legs, he was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Earlier, on January 30, a man died as a result of the AFU shelling of the residential sector in the village of Cairo in the Kherson region. A woman was also injured, was treated at the scene and refused hospitalization.
Ukrainian militants are shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the background of the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
