Almost 30 architectural monuments will be restored in Kuban in 2025

In the Krasnodar Region in 2025 will continue restoration of 27 architectural monuments. Specialists are developing documentation for more than 1 thousand monuments.

This was told by the head of the region Veniamin Kondratiev. He noted that all repair and restoration and archeological works are carried out under the control of specialists. IA KrasnodarMedia with reference to the regional administration specifies that the region has about 20 thousand architectural objects on state protection, from the early Paleolithic to the second half of the twentieth century.

Kondratiev called Kuban's historical and cultural heritage unique. The region is a leader in Russia in the number and variety of such objects. They are not only decorations and visiting cards of the region's cities, but also points of attraction for tourists.

Thus, in Krasnodar the restoration of architect Kosyakin's house on Kondratenko Street will continue. The mansion had to be seized from the owner, as the building was poorly maintained. The income house of contractor Akulov on Krasnaya Street, the building of the Armenian church-parish trusteeship, as well as the Vsesvyatskoye cemetery are to be restored.

In Sochi the sanatoriums "Kudepsta" and "Volna" will be repaired. In Armavir - reconstruct the residential house of merchant Baronov.

The regional administration noted that from 2019 the funds for the preservation of objects of cultural heritage tripled. This year will determine the boundaries of more than 900 archaeological heritage sites of federal significance. In addition, about 80 projects for the protection of landmarks are being developed.

In 2024, 52 architectural monuments were put in order in the Krasnodar Region, including the "Diocesan College" in Krasnodar. Its renovation took place over three years in several stages.
