Five people killed in explosion in apartment building in Azerbaijan

In Azerbaijan, five people were killed and two others were injured due to the explosion of a hand grenade in a residential house. This was reported by Report agency on January 31.

It is specified that three of the dead were minors. Two victims were taken to hospital with injuries.

According to the agency, the explosion occurred after the child found a grenade and brought it home. Now law enforcement officers are working at the scene. An investigation is underway on this fact.

Earlier, December 24, 2024, it was reported about the explosion at the plant for the production of explosives in the Turkish city of Balıkesir. As a result of the emergency killed 12 people, three were injured. It was also reported that a large number of fire trucks were sent to the scene of the explosion to extinguish the fire.
