In Khabarovsk, public utilities are eliminating the consequences of the cyclone, under the influence of which the city has been in recent days. Representatives of the city's housing and utilities department are checking the quality of clearing yards of snow debris. Representatives of MCs have started to involve special equipment in cleaning of territories.

According to the deputy head of the department Oleg Kustov, cited by IA AmurMedia, a seven-day cleaning schedule has been drawn up for MCs. By this moment 2615 yards have been put in order. The work on cleaning of adjacent areas continues in all districts of Khabarovsk. Communal workers clean public sidewalks, entrances to garbage container sites. Today more than 1700 people and 61 units of equipment have been brought out for cleaning, Kustov noted.

Kustov specified that in Khabarovsk there are about 4 thousand yards. Employees of the mayor's office on complaints of residents check how they are cleaned. Scheduled detours are also conducted.

The cyclone hit the Khabarovsk region on January 28. Heavy snow fell on the region, wind gusts reached 25 m/s.

Earlier, on January 29, the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that in the coming days in Primorye, Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands heavy snowfall and winds of 25-27 m/s are predicted. Cold centers are observed in Chukotka.
