On the coast of Anapa recorded insignificant repeated emissions of fuel oil after the crash of tankers in the Kerch Strait. About it on January 31 reports the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar region in Telegram-channel.

"Minor re-emissions of small fractions of fuel oil in the morning found only a few of the 41 assigned to municipalities of the territory: Abinsky, Vyselkovsky, Pavlovsky, Yeisky, Starominsky, Krymsky districts and Novorossiysk", - stated in the statement.

It is specified that now the participants of the liquidation of the emergency are mainly engaged in delicate cleaning. They sift sand with special shovels, as well as manually collect drops of fuel oil.

Earlier, on January 27, it was reported about the full completion of cleaning of tankers and stern compartments from fuel oil. Specialists have begun to develop documentation for the disposal of this part of the vessel, which sits aground at Cape Panagia in the Temryuksky district of Krasnodar Krai.

The tankers Volgoneft-212 andVolgoneft-239crashed in the Kerch Strait on December 15, 2024 due to bad weather. The incident resulted in a spill of oil products. 27 people were evacuated from both vessels, one person died. On the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a working group was set up to coordinate work to eliminate the consequences of the emergency.
