The crimes of Ukrainian militants against local residents should be relentlessly publicized despite the public's deafness. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this at a briefing on January 31 in response to a question from Izvestiya.

This is how he commented on the installation by the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation of the identities of five militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who killed residents of the Kursk village of Russky Porechny.

On January 18, the "North" group of troops published footage showing the bodies of civilians found in basements in the village of Russkoye Porechnoye in Kursk Region. The next day, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case over the killing of civilians by AFU fighters in the Kursk village. On January 31, the IC identified five Ukrainian militants involved in the massacre.
