RAEC Director Grebennikov arrested in drug case

Director of the Russian Association of Electronic Communications (RAEC) Sergei Grebennikov has been remanded in custody for a period of 1 month and 19 days. This was reported in the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow on January 31.

They specified that Grebennikov is charged under Article 30, paragraph "b" part 3 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal production, sale or forwarding of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogs in a significant amount").
