The Russian automobile plant Haval is engaged in the construction of a cluster for the production of automotive components in the Tula region. This was told by First Deputy Governor - Chairman of the Government of the region Mikhail Panteleev.
"The company "Haval Motor Manufacturing Rus" has become the second largest car plant in the country in terms of production volume. Last year 130 thousand cars came off the assembly line. Now the company is actively engaged in the construction of a cluster for the production of automotive components," said Panteleev during a field meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy in Tula, reports "Interfax" on January 30.
The Haval plant in the Tula region was opened on the territory of the Uzlovaya industrial park in June 2019. Haval Jolion, F7, Dargo and H3 crossovers are produced at the plant. Today, the area of the production complex is 183.2 thousand square meters and includes stamping, welding, painting and assembly shop, components production shop, as well as an engine plant.
On January 14, the company " HAVAL Motor Rus" announced that the new crossover Haval H7 will enter the Russian market in the first half of 2025. The car will be presented in three configurations. The length of the Haval H7 is 4705 mm. The crossover is equipped with a 2.0-liter engine with an output of 192 hp, which works in tandem with a seven-speed robotized transmission, as well as an all-wheel drive system with an electronically controlled inter-axle clutch.
