The level of trust of Russians in Putin exceeded 78%


The degree of trust of Russians in President Vladimir Putin is 78.1%, according to a poll by the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research (VTsIOM). The survey data were published on January 31 on the website.
In addition, the level of approval of the Russian leader's activities for the period from January 20 to 26, 2025 was 74.9%. The survey involved 1.6 thousand adult Russians.
It is also noted that the level of approval of the work of the country's Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin increased by 0.4 percentage points, reaching 52.4%.
The activity of the Russian government is positively assessed by about 50.9% of respondents, which is 1.9 percentage points higher than a week earlier.
Before that, on January 17, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian president enjoys tremendous support from the population. In addition, he noted that the results of the polls have an impact on the success of the special military operation (SMO). According to him, this is an important factor "for the enthusiasm of fellow citizens."
Earlier, on January 9, according to the results of VTsIOM polling, Putin became the leader of the rating of the main politicians of 2024. The Russian president has consistently held the first place in this rating since its compilation began in 2006.
