On Friday, January 31, the Izvestia Media Center is hosting a round table discussion on the topic: "Dangerous warming: how will the weather affect the harvest?".

How will the abnormally warm winter affect the harvest in 2025? What is associated with such warming? Which crops may be at risk? Should we expect prices to rise?

Participants:

- Anatoly Tikhonov, Director of the International Center for Agribusiness and Food Security at the Higher School of Corporate Governance of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration;

- Igor Mukhanin, President of the Association of Gardeners of Russia;

- Elena Tyurina, director of the analytical department of the Russian Grain Union;

- Alexander Shuvalov, meteorologist, head of the Meteo Forecasting Center.
