The U.S. Court of Appeals reviewed the new federal law that prohibits the sale of firearms to people under the age of 21 and ruled that the bill is unconstitutional. The Associated Press reported on January 31.

"A U.S. appeals court on Thursday ruled against a federal law requiring young people to be over 21 to buy handguns, finding it violates the constitution's Second Amendment," the agency said in a story.

It is specified that the second amendment of the Constitution speaks about the protection of the right of people between the ages of 18 and 20 to keep and bear firearms.

Earlier, January 22, it was reported that as a result of the shooting at the high school in the city of Nashville in the United States, one student was killed and another was injured. Police reported that the intruder shot himself after the incident.

Prior to that, on December 16, former US President Joe Biden instructed Congress to pass firearms safety laws as soon as possible.
