In the Novosibirsk region at the railway station Barabinsk a man attacked passengers of the train Tomsk - Adler with a knife. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk on January 31.

"In the duty part of the police received a report that in the train message Tomsk - Adler one of the passengers began to show aggression to others, stabbed a man and a woman. When the train arrived at Barabinsk station in the Novosibirsk region, police officers were immediately dispatched to the train," Volk wrote in her Telegram channel.

Police officers evacuated passengers from the car, and after detained the suspect and took him to the duty station At the same time force support was provided by officers of the Rosgvardiya.

As reported by the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department on transport of the IC of the Russian Federation in Telegram-channel, it is preliminary established that 68-year-old resident of the Tomsk region began to demand from his fellow travelers to leave the compartment of the car.

"Having received a refusal from the passengers to fulfill his demands he stabbed each of them one blow with a knife. However, to bring the criminal intent to kill the passengers he failed to succeed under circumstances beyond his control, as the passengers, having received injuries, left the carriage and were subsequently hospitalized in a medical institution", - added in the department.

On this fact a criminal case was initiated under part 3, paragraphs "a" of article 30 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Preparation for a crime and attempted crime") and part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder of two persons"). A set of investigative measures aimed at establishing the circumstances of the incident is being carried out.

Earlier, on January 30, it was reported that a 27-year-old woman was detained at the airport of Yelizovo in Kamchatka region, who in a state of alcoholic intoxication bit police officers during detention. Protocols were drawn up against the offender under Art. 20.21 of the CAO RF ("Appearance in public places in a state of intoxication") and part 1 of Art. 19.3 of the CAO RF ("Disobedience to the lawful order or demand of a police officer").
