A man died as a result of a fire in a hotel in the city of Ussuriysk. This was reported in the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of Primorsky Krai on January 31.
It is specified that the fire occurred on January 25 in a two-storey hotel building on Ozernaya Street. On the fact of the incident specialists conducted inspections, thanks to which it was possible to identify a number of gross violations of fire safety.
"As a result of what happened, a man born in 1976 died," - stated in the message of the press service in the Telegram-channel.
A criminal case has been opened under part 2 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements of life or health of consumers, which caused the death of a person by negligence"). Also, a case of administrative offense under part 1 of article 20.4 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of fire safety requirements") was initiated against the entrepreneur.
The press-service added that checks on this incident continue. Special attention specialists will pay special attention to the legality of putting the building into operation.
Earlier, on January 30, it was reported that there was a fire in an apartment building in the south-west of Moscow. It was liquidated on the area of 15 square meters. m. Specialists managed to evacuate a child from the fifth floor of the building.
