Trump declined to comment on possible talks with Russian and Chinese leaders

US President Donald Trump declined to comment on a possible conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. The American leader was asked on January 30 when he last contacted the Russian head of state and whether the Chinese leader had responded to a request for help in resolving the crisis on the US border.

"I'm not going to comment on either one. But things are going very well on both [fronts]," Trump said during a White House briefing.
