Parts for foreign car brands in Russia rose sharply in price last year. For example, on one of the largest marketplaces the cost of original parts for foreign cars increased on average by 50-80%, said the analytical company JVO. They added: for non-original analogs from Turkey, China and Korea prices rose less - "only" by 25-45%.
The most popular spare parts, so-called consumables, rose in price by an average of 15-20% last year, said Nikita Rodionov, technical director of the international network of car services Fit Service.
The worst situation was with European brands. Only from March to December 2024, the price for components of the Czech Skoda increased by 62%, only a little less - for the German Audi and Volkswagen, said the director of the directorate for settlement of mass losses "SOGAZ" Sergei Goncharov. And about one and a half times - for French Renault.
The main reason for the increase in European brands is difficulties with the supply of spare parts due to the ongoing sanctions and payment difficulties, added Sergei Goncharov.
Another reason for the price increase is an increase in price lists from manufacturers, Avtorus Group of Companies said. In 2024, for original spare parts, they increased by an average of 17-20%, said Maxim Dmitriev, director of the department of loss settlement of the retail business of Ingosstrakh. According to him, most of the growth occurred in the second half of the year.
