The construction of a new medical outpatient clinic has been completed in Usolsky District of the Irkutsk Region. The facility in the village of Mishelevka is already being prepared for opening, the regional government reports.

At present the work on equipment and licensing of the institution is being completed. The opening of the outpatient clinic will take place in the first quarter of 2025.

According to the head physician of Usolsk city hospital Natalia Melnikova, residents of the village of Mishelevka, as well as the village of Khaita will be able to get help in the medical center. Two paramedics, a therapist, a midwife, an ambulance paramedic and four nurses will work for them.

"The new medical center will be equipped with everything necessary: modern medical equipment, tools, medicines, consumables and furniture", - commented the head of the regional Ministry of Health Andrei Modestov.

As IrkutskMedia IA specifies, so far medical aid is provided to local residents in the building built in 1927. The cost of construction of the new building amounted to more than 47 million rubles, more than 4.6 million rubles was allocated for equipment and furniture.
