Media reported six injured in explosion at Rheinmetall plant in Spain


As a result of an explosion at the Rheinmetall weapons factory in the Spanish city of Murcia six people were injured. This was reported on January 30 by the agency EFE with reference to the regional emergency service.
"Six workers aged from 30 to 52 years were injured, one of them seriously, as a result of a deflagration explosion of a warehouse at the German arms factory Rheinmetall," - stated in the material of the agency.
It is specified that all the victims were taken to hospitals with various injuries. Two victims arrived at medical facilities with burns, one poisoned by products of combustion, and three more with bruises and head injuries.
Earlier, on December 24, 2024, it was reported about the explosion at the explosives plant in the Turkish city of Balıkesir. As a result of the emergency 12 people were killed, three were injured. It was also reported that a large number of fire engines were sent to the scene of the explosion to extinguish the fire.
