A man was killed in the village of Kairi, Kherson region, as a result of AFU shelling

As a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of a residential sector in the village of Kairi in Kherson Region, one person was killed and another was injured. This was reported on January 30 by the press Secretary of the Governor of the region Volodymyr Vasylenko.

"In the village of Cairo in the Gornostayevsky district on Naberezhnaya Street, a man born in 1965 was killed and a woman born in 1964 was injured as a result of shelling of the residential sector," he told TASS.

Vasilenko noted that the victim received medical assistance at the scene, she refused hospitalization.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-Large for Crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik said that the AFU had launched a massive strike with at least 30 shells on Kremenna in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). At least one civilian was injured. Residential houses and an administrative building were seriously damaged. A significant part of the city was left without power supply.

The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the backdrop of the special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
