A case of attempted fraud in the liquidation of landfills was initiated in Kansk

In the Krasnoyarsk region a criminal case has been initiated for attempted fraud in the liquidation of unauthorized dumps in the city of Kansk. The regional prosecutor's office reports about it in its Telegram-channel.

In September 2024, a contract was concluded with LLC "Energy Kansk", according to which the contractor was to eliminate four dumps and remove the garbage to a specialized landfill, having purchased coupons for this purpose at a total cost of 8.4 million rubles. However, the contractor left the waste in excavations on its own territory, indicating false information in the acts of completed work.

"The prosecutor's office during the inspection learned the "interesting" features of the contractor's fulfillment of the assumed obligations - coupons were not bought, garbage removal was delayed. The customer himself (district department of construction, housing and utilities and environmental protection. - Ed.) did not control the process," the report says.

On the materials of the regional department of the Federal Security Service of Russia initiated a criminal case under part 3 of article 30, part. 4 Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Attempted fraud". To the head of the district profile department a submission was made with the requirement to eliminate violations of the legislation on the contract system.

As KrasnoyarskMedia IA specifies, the cost of the contract with Energia Kansk LLC amounted to 14.5 million rubles. The firm was to complete the work by November 2024.
