Pussy Riot member Tolokonnikova put on international wanted list

Member of the group Pussy Riot Nadezhda Tolokonnikova (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent), was put on an international wanted list, reported January 30 in law enforcement agencies.
It is noted that Tolokonnikova's lawyer notified the girl about the initiation of criminal proceedings against her.
"Tolokonnikova Nadezhda Andreyevna <...>, did not arrive at the investigator, after which justifiably declared in the interstate search, which is also notified by her defense counsel," - quotes "RIA Novosti" the message of law enforcement agencies.
The criminal case against Tolokonnikova was initiated in March 2023, the reason for it were her posts on social networks. At the end of that month, the Russian Interior Ministry put her on a federal wanted list. The Ministry of Justice included Tolokonnikova in the register of foreign agents on December 30, 2021.
In early November 2023, the Babushkinsky Court of Moscow refused to arrest the Pussy Riot member in absentia, thus leaving the petition of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation without satisfaction. Later, on November 21, Moscow City Court overturned the district court's ruling against Tolokonnikova on the refusal to arrest her in absentia and decided to remand her in absentia for two months.
The girl is charged with Article 148 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public actions expressing obvious disrespect for society and committed in order to offend the religious feelings of believers"). In 2012, Tolokonnikova, along with other members of Pussy Riot, was sentenced to two years in prison for their action in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. Two of them, including Tolokonnikova, were released under an amnesty in December 2013, while the third was given a suspended sentence.
