Employees of the territorial manning center in Lviv in western Ukraine staged a raid to catch evaders near the building of the local city council. This was reported on January 30 by the Ukrainian edition "Strana.ua".

"In Lviv this morning TCKs staged a raid under the walls of the city Council before the meeting", - stated in the message of the edition in Telegram-channel.

It specified that the only one who was taken away by employees of the TCC, was the head of the Department of education Andriy Zakalyuk. About what was with the official later, it is not reported.

The day before, in the city of Zaporizhzhya controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), TCC employees mobilized a man during the registration of deferment. It was reported that the military officers took the man from the shuttle bus to check his documents. However, he was mobilized despite the fact that he had a certificate of reissuance of documents for deferment.

Earlier, on 23 January, Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk, who left Ukraine, said that the TCC employees were paid about $100 per forcibly mobilized person. According to him, a group of up to six military recruitment center employees can collect from five to 20 men per day, while at checkpoints the number reaches up to a hundred.

Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Then the country's President Volodymyr Zelensky (term of office expired in May 2024) signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved the law on tougher mobilization.
