Forecasters predicted cloudy weather at the weekend in Moscow

Muscovites are expected to face cloudy weather on the weekend, February 1 and 2. Precipitation in the form of rain and snow is expected on both days, as follows from the data of the "Yandex Weather" service, which were reviewed by "Izvestia" on January 31.

On Saturday, February 1, Moscow will be cloudy, with snow and rain expected during the day. Gusts of moderate southwesterly wind will reach 5.2 m/s. In the morning the temperature will be +4, in the afternoon will remain at this level, and by nightfall will drop to +2. In cities near Moscow, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, the temperature during the day will be about +3.

On Sunday, February 2, the weather in the capital will remain cloudy, with snow expected throughout the day. The temperature in the morning will be 0 degrees, by the evening will warm up to +1, and at night will fall to -1.

"Moderate wind is expected, in the morning gusts will reach 5.3 m/s. In the central districts of the capital (Tverskaya, Arbat, Tagansky, Yakimanka) throughout the day the temperature will be one degree higher than in the rest of the city," - said forecasters.

According to the service, the conditions in the Moscow region will remain similar to those in the capital: rain with snow is expected during the day, and the temperature will be at the level of Moscow values or a maximum of one degree lower.

Earlier, on January 28, the head of the forecasting center "Meteo" Alexander Shuvalov told "Izvestia" that in February in the capital is expected to drop in temperature, which will be accompanied by light snow. At the same time, no heavy snowfalls are forecast.
