The White House plans to hire additional stenographers because of the many words of US President Donald Trump. The Associated Press wrote about it on January 30.

"The flow of words is one of the most visible - or audible - differences between Trump and [former U.S. President Joe] Biden. Trump craves attention and understands better than most politicians that attention is a form of power," the piece said.

According to the agency, on the day of the inauguration, stenographers recording every word of the American leader had to transcribe and capture on paper about 22 thousand words, and on the day of his visit to the sites of wildfires in California - about 17 thousand words.

In total, during the first week of his presidential politician spoke more than 80 thousand words, added "Gazeta.Ru".

A day earlier it was reported that in the United States brought to a vote of Congress a bill that would allow to add a portrait of Trump on Mount Rushmore. According to a member of the House of Representatives (lower house of Congress) Anna Paulina Luna, the outstanding achievements of the American leader for the good of the country should be immortalized and deserve recognition.

Meanwhile, Trump himself denied reports back in 2020 that he allegedly wanted his face added to a memorial with four presidents.
