The average time of sale of popular foreign cars with mileage in Russia has been named
In the second half of 2024, popular cars with used cars in Russia were sold at dealers in about 33 days. This was reported to "Izvestia" on January 30 by analysts of "Auto.ru Business".
Among such cars, the experts singled out Kia Rio III, which costs Br883.4 thousand on average, and Hyundai Solaris I (Br835 thousand). These models left the warehouses somewhat faster - in 29.5 and 30 days, respectively.
Geely Atlas II at an average cost of Br3.65 million was sold fastest among the ten popular new cars at dealers - the period of announcements was 13 days. Russians bought Lada Vesta and Lada Granta most often among used cars at dealerships.
The average cost of a used Lada Vesta from July to December 2024 decreased by 4% and amounted to 1.1 million rubles. Second and third place in the ranking were taken by Lada Granta I Facelift (Br858.7 thousand) and Lada Granta I (Br530.5 thousand). Next is Kia Rio IV with an average cost of Br1.4 million (-4.5% for six months).
Earlier in the day it was reported that by the end of 2024, Russian residents spent Br6.95 trillion to buy used cars. The financial capacity of the secondary car market set a new record, and this is the ninth year in a row.
On the eve it became known that at the end of 2024 in the secondary market of cars of foreign brands has changed the leader. Kia Rio has become the bestseller, while Ford Focus, which had occupied the first place earlier, has fallen to the third line.
