The bridge over the Nara River in Serpukhov will be widened to four lanes

Overhaul of the bridge over the Nara River will be carried out in Serpukhov. The engineering structure is located on the federal highway A-108 "Moscow Big Ring", the press service of the regional Ministry of Transport reported on Thursday, January 30.

By the end of 2025 the bridge will become a four-lane bridge, explained in the FCU "Tsentravtomagistral". For the time of repair there will be a temporary scheme of organization of road traffic on the 347th km of the road.

Now the builders are completing the work on widening the dimensions of the object and restoring the bearing structures. Further they will lay a new pavement, update the drainage system, install lighting and equip sidewalks.

According to the online edition "Podmoskovye Segodnya", the work is being carried out as part of a comprehensive program to expand the "Moscow Great Ring".

Earlier "Izvestia" wrote that in Russia exceeded the plan for the construction and reconstruction of highways, laid down in the national project "Safe quality roads". Financing of the industry for the next five years will be increased: the government has additionally allocated 46 billion rubles for highway construction.
