All Moscow hospitals have launched SMS-notification service, with the help of which relatives of a patient in intensive care can learn about his condition. This was announced on January 30 by Deputy Mayor for Social Development Anastasia Rakova.

According to her, since the launch of the service last summer about 120 thousand messages have been sent, in which the key indicators of the patient's health and the conclusion about the dynamics of his condition are indicated: temperature, pulse, blood pressure, saturation, heart rate.

The daily report also notes whether the patient is conscious, connected to a ventilator.

"The project has been very well received by Muscovites. <...> I am happy to announce that the service is now available in all adult hospitals in Moscow, which have switched to a digital format of work", - said Rakova.

It is specified that SMS-notification about the patient's admission to the intensive care unit comes automatically to the number that the patient specified during hospitalization.

To activate the service, a relative needs to contact the hospital staff. The daily morning mailing will stop once the patient is transferred to another ward or discharged.

Earlier, on December 27 last year, it was reported that the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital (RCCH) in Moscow opened a new department for patients who need both rehabilitation and resuscitation measures.
