The implementation of the Moscow-St. Petersburg high-speed rail project is on schedule and the road will be built on time. This was announced by the head of the Russian Ministry of Transport Roman Starovoit at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on January 30.

Earlier, on December 10, 2024, the holding company "Russian Railways" (RZD) signed a contract with "High-Speed Railway Two Capitals", RZD will be the general contractor of the main concession section of the High-Speed Railway Moscow - St. Petersburg.
