In the State Duma proposed to remove the commission in the tariff "children" in "Yandex Taxi"

First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Control Committee Dmitry Gusev has appealed to "Yandex Taxi" with an initiative to make the commission 0% in the tariff "children". He told reporters about it on January 30.

According to him, thanks to this it will be possible to attract more drivers, as they will be able to earn more from "children's" orders and it will not affect the wallets of consumers. Additional cars operating on this tariff will eventually provide comfortable prices for trips and become profitable for both cab drivers and passengers

Now Yandex charges 22% from drivers for each order in the "child" fare, which corresponds to the rate in the "economy" fare. However, for passengers with children, trips are often 50% more expensive. Gusev believes that if the commission is abolished, it will incentivize drivers to be more willing to accept orders from passengers with children.

"Why do some drivers shy away from orders with children? Because children are more trouble. They can get cranky, get their seats dirty or get carsick. As a result, there aren't enough cab cabs. And it turns out that trips with children are more expensive than normal ones. It is necessary to motivate drivers to take passengers with children," - said Gusev.

Earlier, on January 22, deputies of the State Duma proposed to reduce fines for the lack of taxi fleets of the policy of compulsory insurance of civil liability of the carrier (OSGOP). The corresponding draft law was submitted to the Parliament on January 22 and published in the system of ensuring legislative activity of the State Duma.
