The amount of grants for patents approved in Moscow increased almost fivefold over the year

Moscow in 2024 supported developers with grants for patenting in Russia and abroad more than 2 thousand technical solutions. The measure was used, in particular, by the creators of software, projects in the field of pharmaceuticals, radio electronics, said Deputy Mayor of the city Natalia Sergunina.

"Last year, the capital's companies were approved grants for patenting inventions for more than 200 million rubles. In comparison with 2023 the indicator has increased almost five times", - she noted.

The program is designed for participants of the Moscow Innovation Cluster. It allows representatives of small and medium-sized businesses to reimburse the cost of registering the right to their developments in Russia and around the world.

An entrepreneur can apply for several grants. The maximum amount of support for patenting both in our country and abroad is 5 million rubles per year.

For example, in 2024, funds were allocated to a company producing microchips and sensors for automotive and space electronics. Another support of the city was received by the company that creates equipment for aviation on-board equipment, antenna complexes and radio stations. In addition, the payment was approved to an organization producing modern telemedicine systems.

Now in Moscow the reception of applications for grants for patenting inventions and utility models is open again. You can submit documents until March 31 on the i.moscow platform.
