Production of Voyah hybrid cars started in Russia

Production of Chinese Voyah hybrid cars has started in Russia, with production set up in the Lipetsk Region at the Motorinvest enterprise.

Successive hybrids Voyah Dream (minivan) and Free (crossover) have entered the assembly line of the plant, TASS reports citing the press service of the plant on January 29. "Motorinvest also acts as the exclusive distributor of Voyah brand in Russia and produces Evolute brand models: electric sedans i-Pro, crossovers i-Joy, i-Sky, i-Jet, as well as hybrid parkettes i-Space."

The hybrid Voyah Free is available in three versions: EVR, EVR Long Range and EVR Sport Edition. The last one costs from 5.59 million rubles, has all-wheel drive, 490 hp power plant and allows to drive up to 1 thousand kilometers with a fully charged battery and a full tank of fuel.

All-wheel drive Dream model with a hybrid powertrain is also presented in three modifications, the most affordable from 7.55 million rubles. The power of the system is 394 hp, the range is 750 km.

January 29, it was reported that the Ministry of Industry and Trade included Evolute models (i-Pro, i-Jet, i-Joy, i-Van and i-Sky), as well as Voyah Dream and Free in the program to stimulate demand for cars in 2025. Haval Jolion was excluded from the list of cars that fall under the terms of the program.

January 15, it became known that the brand Voyah at the end of 2024 became the leader of the Russian car market in the segment of models on alternative energy sources of the new generation (NEV). The company also ranked fourth among all premium brands in the country in terms of market share.
