More than 30 architectural monuments will be put in order in Moscow's Kuzminki estate in the next three years. Restorers are already working on 19 objects, said the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin in his personal blog.

The primary task is to repair the buildings that make up the core of the estate. Now the specialists are engaged including the eastern and western wings of the main house, forming the front yard. The house itself has not been preserved, but the exquisite additions, noted the head of the city, give the impression of mini-palaces.

During the works the restorers will clean the white stone elements, renew the historical stucco decoration and roof. Special attention will be paid to the preservation of lion sculptures decorating the fence of the front yard, entrances to the wings and the round "lion" pier.

Also this year the bridge with griffins will be put in order. At the final stage, architectural and artistic illumination will appear on the structure.

Upon completion of the works, the buildings of the estate will house exhibitions and museum expositions, concerts and other events will be held.

The Kuzminki estate (Vlakhernoye) is the largest in terms of the number of cultural heritage objects in Moscow. There are about 40 architectural monuments of the late 18th - early 20th centuries. The owners at different times were Barons Stroganovs and Princes Golitsyns.
