In Chelyabinsk, the director of Uraldorstroy was sentenced to 5 years for bribery


In Chelyabinsk, the Central District Court sentenced Nver Kolozyan, director of contractors of Uraldorstroy LLC, for giving a bribe of 8 million rubles to officials of Chelyabinskavtodor. This was reported in the press service of the FSS of Russia in the Chelyabinsk region on January 30.
According to investigators, from 2021 to 2023 Kolozyan transferred to officials of the OGKU "Chelyabinskavtodor" bribes in a particularly large amount for the provision of services in the field of informing about various inspections, which were conducted by experts of the testing laboratory, in order to conceal violations of the terms of government contracts, as well as in the acceptance of knowingly low-quality roads that do not meet regulatory and technical requirements.
The defendant was convicted under part 5 of article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Bribery on a large scale") for five years with serving his sentence in a strict regime colony, as well as a fine of 40 million rubles with deprivation of the right to hold managerial positions in commercial organizations for a period of 3 years.
Earlier, January 29, CEO of the bookmaker company "Fonbet" Sergei Anokhin was detained on suspicion of bribery. It was specified that it was about the amount of Br50 million, which Anokhin tried to give to the law enforcer.
