Russian defenseman of Florida Kulikov played the 1000th game in the NHL

Russian defenseman of the Florida Panthers hockey club Dmitry Kulikov gave a goal in his 1000th game in the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL) against the Los Angeles Kings.

The game was played on January 30 in Sunrise, Florida. "Florida Panthers" defeated "Los Angeles Kings" with a score of 3:0. Sam Bennett, Aleksander Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk scored the pucks.

For Kulikov, the game was his 1,000th in the league. The Florida defenseman is the ninth Russian to reach that mark.

Alexander Ovechkin, Alexei Kovalev, Sergei Gonchar, Sergei Fedorov, Evgeni Malkin, Vyacheslav Kozlov, Alexei Zhitnik and Sergei Zubov also reached the same mark.
