The Russian Embassy in the United States is finding out whether Russian citizens were injured when an airplane collided with a military helicopter near Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) near Washington, DC.

"The embassy is finding out," TASS quoted a statement from the diplomatic mission as saying.

The crash of a small airplane into the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) became known earlier in the day.
