Forecasters predicted warming to +7 degrees Celsius in Moscow and the region on January 30

Cloudy with clearings, mostly without precipitation and up to +7 degrees - such weather expects residents of the capital region on Thursday, January 30. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow during the day will vary from +5 to +7 degrees. At night, the thermometer columns will drop to +1.

In Moscow region during the day forecasters promise from +2 to +7 degrees, and at night the temperature may fall to -1.

A south and southwest wind with a speed of 5-10 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 751-753 mm of mercury column.

Earlier, on January 27, leading specialist of the information agency "Meteonovosti" Tatyana Pozdnyakova in conversation with "Izvestia" noted that record warm weather is forecasted in Moscow and Moscow region during this week. It is expected that January 30 will be the warmest.

Scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said on January 28 that January in the capital will be the hottest in the history of weather observations, and the average temperature background in Moscow will be positive for the first time. At the same time, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist of the Fobos weather center, told Izvestia that in January the temperature is higher than the climatic norm because this year the high frontal zone is located in the areas of the Arctic coast of the Russian Federation and cyclones passing mainly by northern routes brought warm air from the Atlantic and the Mediterranean instead of cold air.
