Deputy head of the UFAS in St. Petersburg detained in a case of abuse of power


Deputy Head of the FAS Administration in St. Petersburg Ekaterina Danilovskaya has been detained in a case of abuse of power. This was reported on January 29 by TV channel "78" in its Telegram channel.
It is reported that Danilovskaya since January last year, together with colleagues, deliberately violated the provision of the Law "On the contract system in the sphere of procurement of goods, works, services for the provision of state and municipal needs", going beyond the limits of official authority.
"She also ensured the adoption of decisions on complaints favorable to commercial organizations (procurement participants) to the detriment of the interests of bona fide participants in the procurement conducted by the Committee on the state order of St. Petersburg as an authorized body", - stated in the message of the TV channel.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Exceeding official powers").
Earlier, on January 14, on suspicion of abuse of power detained the former head of the State Automobile Inspection Department of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Krasnoyarsk region Andrei Sirotinin. As reported in the regional prosecutor's office, according to the investigation, in the spring of 2024, Sirotinin instructed his subordinates to ensure the theoretical part of the driving test for his acquaintance, who was repairing his apartment.
