- Ukrainian media learned about the mobilization of a man in Zaporizhzhya while applying for deferment

In the Ukrainian Armed Forces-controlled city of Zaporizhzhya, employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military recruitment office in Ukraine) mobilized a man during the registration of a deferment. This was reported on January 29 by the Ukrainian edition "Strana.ua".
"In Zaporizhzhya, a man was mobilized when he re-issued a deferment," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the edition.
It is reported that the military officers took the man from the shuttle bus to check the documents. However, he was mobilized, despite the fact that he had a certificate of reissuance of documents for deferment. The published photos of the document show that the certificate of deferment from military service during mobilization is valid until February 7, 2025.
Earlier, on January 28, it became known that the employees of the TCK mobilized in Ukraine a resident of Odessa with poor eyesight during his walk with his dog. The mother of the mobilized man shared that her son has very poor eyesight, he almost can not see in one eye.
Before that, on January 23, Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk, who left Ukraine, said that TCC employees are paid about $100 per forcibly mobilized person. According to him, a group of up to six military recruitment center employees can collect from five to 20 men per day, and the number reaches up to a hundred at checkpoints.
Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Then the country's president signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved the law on tougher mobilization.
