More than 140 g of drugs were seized from a young man in southwest Moscow

In the south-west of Moscow, law enforcers seized more than 140 g of drugs from a 24-year-old citizen. This was reported in the press service of the capital department of the State Automobile Inspectorate.

The Agency of city news "Moscow" in the department told that the citizen was detained at a public transport stop in the district of Yasenevo on Sevastopol Avenue. When communicating with police officers, the young man became nervous, to the question about the presence of prohibited substances with him answered positively.

An investigative and operational team arrived at the scene. During personal search of the citizen two plastic bags with 40 rolls of unknown powdery substance with a total mass of more than 140 g were found and seized. The examination showed that the substance is a derivative of ephedrone.

A criminal case was opened under the article on attempted illegal production, sale or sending of narcotic drugs. The defendant has been remanded in custody.
