MEP nominates Musk for Nobel Peace Prize

Slovenian Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Branko Grims on January 29 nominated American entrepreneur and politician Ilon Musk for the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize for his support for freedom of speech.

"Today, a proposal was successfully submitted that Mr. Ilon Musk, for his consistent support of the fundamental human right to freedom of speech and therefore peace, should receive the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize," Grims wrote on his social networking page X (formerly Twitter).

Also in the post, he showed a photo of an email from the Norwegian Nobel Institute, which indicated its acceptance of Musk's nomination for the prize.

Earlier, on January 21, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed his readiness to nominate American leader Donald Trump for the Nobel Prize if he can end world conflicts, as he repeatedly promised in his speeches.
