More than 500 people in Syria killed in fighting after power change


More than 500 people have been killed in fighting in Syria since the change of power. This was reported to Izvestia by the Syrian Human Rights Monitoring Center.
"More than 505 people have been killed in fighting since December 12, including 53 civilians," Rami Abdel Rahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Monitoring Center, told Izvestia.
The organization added that about a thousand people associated with the government of Bashar al-Assad continue to await trial.
Earlier Izvestia reported on the start of proceedings of the Military Operations Command against officers, militias and informants who cooperated with the former elite.
