Russian embassy in Germany says Germans' readiness to help Ukraine has declined

The readiness to help Ukraine "as long as necessary" is causing less and less enthusiasm among taxpayers in Germany. This was stated to Izvestia by the Russian Embassy in Berlin.
"The FRG authorities declare their readiness to help Ukraine "as much as necessary". True, such "generosity" causes less and less enthusiasm among local taxpayers, who believe that in the conditions of socio-economic crisis this money could have found a more reasonable use", - said in the diplomatic mission.
Since the beginning of Russia's military operation in Ukraine, Germany has allocated about €28 billion in military aid to Kiev.
In January, the research company Ipsos published a survey, according to which 48% of Germans oppose the continuation of arms supplies to Ukraine.
