In Pskov, a criminal case was initiated against the general director of the soccer club "Pskov" under the article on misappropriation and embezzlement of other people's property. This was reported in the press service of the regional prosecutor's office on January 29.

According to the investigation, the General Director of the club illegally awarded himself more than 400 thousand rubles without coordination with the founders of the organization.

"A criminal case has been initiated under part 3 of article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Misappropriation or embezzlement of other people's property entrusted to the perpetrator, committed with the use of his official position on a large scale")", - stated in the message of the department in Telegram-channel.

This crime is punishable by imprisonment for up to 6 years.

Earlier in the day, the court in Bashkiria found the General Director of "Magnitogorsk Airport" Evgeny Kirsanov guilty of embezzlement and sentenced him to two years in a penal colony. It is specified that Kirsanov unreasonably wrote bonuses to himself, and his wife flew business class at the expense of the airport. The total damage exceeded 2 million rubles. The defendant was also deprived of the right to engage in organizational-administrative and administrative activities in commercial organizations for a period of two years. He admitted his guilt partially.
