Two Kirov women helped about 100 migrants to legalize illegally in Russia


Residents of Kirov region helped about 100 foreign citizens to legalize illegally on the territory of Russia. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk on January 29.
It is specified that the women assisted migrants in passing exams in Russian language, history and basics of legislation. One of the suspects, engaged in testing, gave her accomplice forms with highlighted correct answers. The second woman provided these materials to foreigners for monetary remuneration.
"In some cases, the woman herself took the exam for the foreigner, connecting to his account on a special website," Volk wrote in her Telegram channel.
Law enforcement agencies detained the two women. A criminal case has been opened against them under articles on abuse of power and organization of illegal migration. One of the defendants has been assigned house arrest, and her accomplice - an obligation to appear.
The police are continuing the investigation. In the near future, foreign citizens, who illegally obtained certificates, will be expelled from Russia.
Earlier, on January 13, it became known that police officers, conducting a raid in a nightclub on Yeniseyskaya Street in the north-east of Moscow, found 26 migrants, who were illegally in Russia. In their respect they drew up protocols of administrative violation under Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation "Violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation". Illegals were fined 5 thousand rubles. It was decided to expel them from the Russian Federation.
