Case of embezzlement of ex-deputy defense minister Ivanov transferred to Moscow City Court

The criminal case of former Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov and his ex-subordinate Anton Filatov on embezzlement has been transferred to the Moscow City Court. This was reported to "Izvestia" in court on January 29.

The preliminary hearing on the case was held in the Khamovnicheskiy District Court of Moscow in closed mode. The side of the state prosecution filed motions to close the trial and to transfer the case under jurisdiction to the Moscow City Court.

"The judge of the Khamovnichesky court granted the motion to transfer the case, and the issue of holding hearings in closed mode will be decided already by the Moscow City Court", - said in court.
