Kibovsky, ex-head of Moscow's culture department, has appealed his arrest


Alexander Kibovsky, former minister of the Moscow government and ex-head of the local department of culture, accused of taking bribes and fraud, has appealed against his arrest. The data on this was published on January 29 on the website of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow courts.
The court hearing on the case will be held in the morning of February 4.
Alexander Kibovsky was arrested on July 17 last year on charges of committing eight episodes of bribery (part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code) and one episode of attempted fraud (part 3 of article 30, part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code). The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation specified that the total amount of bribes could exceed Br100 million. On January 9 this year, the court extended his arrest until March.
