The SF early terminated the powers of Senator Nekrasov from the Arkhangelsk region


Russian senator from the Arkhangelsk region Alexander Nekrasov is terminating his powers ahead of schedule, this decision was made by members of the Federation Council (FC) of Russia during a vote at the 583rd plenary session on January 29.
As announced by the chairman of the SF Committee on Regulations and Organization of Parliamentary Activity Vyacheslav Timchenko, the committee received a statement from Nekrasov himself, in which he asked to terminate his powers. A total of 171 senators voted unanimously in favor of the early resignation of the SF member.
Nekrasov was appointed as a senator from the government of his region in 2020. In 2016, he was elected to the State Duma of the Russian Federation as part of the federal list of candidates nominated by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF).
Earlier on January 28, the City Duma of Rostov-on-Don accepted the resignation of the head of the city administration Alexei Logvinenko, who left his post at his own request. Alexander Skryabin, who previously served as first deputy governor of Rostov region, was appointed acting head of the city administration.
