The Ministry of Industry and Trade has updated the terms of the programs to stimulate demand for cars in 2025 - preferential car loans and leasing. Haval Jolion was excluded from the list of cars that fall under the terms of the program. Instead, the list includes the crossover Moskvich 3. This follows from the message of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, published on January 29.

Under the terms of the program fall cars with internal combustion engine costing up to Br2 million, gaining at least 2 thousand points for localization. To date, these are all models of Lada, VIS, UAZ, and GAZ (GVW up to 3.5 tons), as well as crossover Moskvich 3. Previously, the list also included Haval Jolion, produced in the Tula region.

Within the framework of preferential car lending, borrowers can purchase electric cars and series hybrids manufactured in the territory of the Russian Federation with a 35% discount (but not more than 925 thousand rubles). These are Evolute models (i-Pro, i-Jet, i-Joy, i-Van and i-Sky), as well as Voyah Dream and Free, Moskvich 3e and Amberavto A5.

Under the terms of the preferential car loan program, the basic discount is 20% (for residents of the Far Eastern Federal District - 25%) of the cost of a car with an internal combustion engine. The program continues to operate for the following categories of citizens: medical workers, education employees, participants of the CVO and their family members, citizens with disabilities, and families with children purchasing a car in the FEFD regions.

In 2024, the federal budget provides for the financing of the program of preferential car lending in the amount of over 36 billion rubles, preferential leasing - in the amount of 27 billion rubles.

In early January 2025, Haval raised the price of crossover Jolion by Br100 thousand (from 3.5 to 4.9%), after the price hike its price ranged from Br2.15 million to Br2.95 million, follows from the data of "Price Auto". As of January 29, the price of the model was again reduced and ranges from 2.05 million to 2.85 million rubles, the Izvestia check showed.

January 24, it was reported that in Russia, banks issued a record number of car loans to citizens at the end of last year - 1.4 million such loans for Br2 trillion were issued over the year. Significant dynamics of growth in the issuance of car loans last year is explained primarily by the effect of low base due to the shortage of new cars in 2023.
