Searches were reported in the St. Petersburg department of the FAS

Police are conducting searches in the St. Petersburg office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS). This was reported by FAS spokeswoman Polina Velichko to Izvestia on January 29.

"Operational and investigative measures are being carried out in the Directorate by employees. Employees are providing all the necessary assistance," she informed.

Other details she did not give.

A day earlier it was reported that the FAS fined Sovcombank for inappropriate advertising of the deposit. The video presented information attracting consumers about the interest rate reaching 21% per annum, other conditions of the financial product were shown in small print.
